Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information ThoiTiet.Online (“the site”, “we”) handles when you visit thoitiet.online, and what choices you have. In short: you do not need an account, we do not sell personal data, and we collect as little as we can.
1. Information we handle

We do not ask for your name, an account, a phone number or payment details.
2. Cookies and browser storage
- We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies.
- Your preferences are kept in your browser’s local storage, not on our servers: the place you chose, °C or °F, places you looked at recently, and whether you allowed precise location. You can delete them at any time by clearing site data in your browser; the site keeps working.
- Our network and security provider (Cloudflare) may set a strictly necessary cookie to tell real visitors from automated traffic.
3. Statistics
We look at aggregate, cookieless traffic and performance statistics from our network provider (Cloudflare Web Analytics): for example how many times a page was viewed, from which countries, and how fast it loaded. These statistics are not used to build a profile of you. At the date of this policy we do not use Google Analytics and we do not show advertising on the site. If that changes, this policy will be updated to say so.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. We may disclose information when the law requires it, in response to a valid written request from a competent authority.
5. How long we keep it
- Server logs: up to 12 months.
- Location: used to answer the request and not kept afterwards.
- Browser storage: until you clear it.
- Email: for as long as needed to deal with your message.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to be informed about, access, correct or delete personal data about you, and to withdraw consent for location at any time (in your browser’s site settings). These rights are set out in Vietnam’s Decree 13/2023/ND-CP on personal data protection and, where it applies to you, the GDPR.
To make a request, email [email protected] with [PERSONAL DATA REQUEST] in the subject line and describe what you need. We aim to reply within 72 working hours.
7. Security
All traffic to the site is encrypted with HTTPS. The site sits behind a web application firewall and denial-of-service protection, and access to server logs is limited to the people who maintain the site.
8. Children
The site is a general weather service and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
9. Links to other sites
Pages may link to other websites, for example official weather services. This policy does not cover them; please read their own policies.
10. Changes to this policy
When this policy changes we will post the new version here with a new date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
